ADTRAN Total Access 750 - Control processor - plug-in module

As competition for dial tone continues, service providers must find integrated access devices that allow cost effective deployment of voice and data services at the customer`s premises. ADTRAN`s Total Access 750, a low-cost inte-grated access device, allows service providers a means to offer combined voice and data traffic over a single T1 terminating at a customer`s premises. The Total Access 750 supports a broad service offering including analog voice (FXO/ FXS), NxData, Fractional T1, ISDN and DDS. The Total Access 750 provides seven slots for the user to combine a variety of voice and data services based on the specific requirements of each application. Up to six Quad FXS or FXO access modules provide up to 24 analog voice lines. Data options include a Fractional T1 port, as well as DDS, ISDN, and Nx56/64 access modules. The Fractional T1 Drop-and-Insert port on the rear of the unit provides a conven-ient method of dropping a number of DS0s to a PBX or other equipment via a DSX-1 signal. PRODUCT FEATURES: Activates integral T1 network interface on 750 or 850 chassis; Two BCU versions: List 1 (L1) and List 2 (L2); BCU L1 or BCU L2 activates V.35 port on rear of chassis when used in conjunction with V.35 Module (individual V.35 for either 750 or 850 chassis); BCU L2 additionally activates the Fractional T1 (DSX-1) port on rear of chassis; Provisions and operates all modules through a DB-9 admin port on the front of the controller; DIP switches for basic provisioning.
